| Sleep-Quest Maximizes Patient
Comfort and Saves the Patient Money
Our sleep studies are performed in our newly renovated
and furnished sleep lab at Suite 4, 110 Mountcastle
Dr. in Johnson City, TN. Our testing rooms are very
spacious and luxuriously decorated suites that have
been specially wired to allow for sleep testing.
The advantages of choosing Sleep-Quest to have a sleep
study rather than another sleep lab are:
- The utmost in patient comfort
Each sleep testing suite is a 300+ sq. ft. room outfitted
with world famous Tempur-pedic bedding (http://www.tempurpedic.com),
bed linens are imported from Italy and purchased
from Restoration Hardware (http://www.restorationhardware.com),
known for their superior quality, high definition
televisions with cable and oversized recliner chairs.
This ensures the best possibility of
the patient falling to sleep quickly and completely
therefore allowing for the best opportunity to
collect accurate testing data.
- Caregiver or family member
accommodation
When necessary, the rooms are large enough to easily
accommodate a twin bed so that spouses, patient caregivers
or parents of pediatric patients can stay in the
same room with the patient
- Morning After Testing CPAP
Installation
Many patients who test positive for specific sleep
disorders will require CPAP (Continuous Positive
Airway Pressure) devices. At patient or physician
request, Sleep-Quest will contact Specialty
Respiratory Services (located next door) to send a respiratory
therapist to your suite to set up your CPAP device
before you go home that morning. This eliminates
waiting for treatment or expensive travel to or from
another home medical equipment dealer
- Coordinated CPAP Management
One of the most common types of therapy for obstructive
sleep apnea is Continuous Positive Airway Pressure
(CPAP). Sleep-Quest offers intensive patient counseling
and education, monitoring for problems and compliance
from the inception of CPAP therapy and follow-up
for a full year.
